About Irving Pool Builders: Pool Pros in TX
Irving Pool Builders has spent more than 15 years putting pools into yards between Las Colinas and the mid-cities, and a fair number of those yards told us no the first time we looked at them. Six feet of side-yard access, a fence line the neighbor will not move, a mature pecan directly over the only crane path.
Working that out is most of the job here, and it is why we walk the site properly before quoting instead of pricing a pool off a satellite image and hoping.
We run our own crews. The person who measures your yard is the person answering the phone in week six, and the excavation, steel, plumbing, gunite, tile and deck work is done by people we employ rather than whoever bid lowest that month.
It is a slower way to grow and it is the reason our spring schedule fills by February. We are licensed, insured and bonded, we carry general liability and workers' compensation, we are members of the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance, and every construction, remodel and resurfacing project comes with a written workmanship warranty in plain English.
The rest of the job is being straight with you about North Texas. Clay moves and will find any weakness in a shell or a deck. Our water is hard enough that a neglected salt cell scales in a season and a heat exchanger follows it.
Every few winters something arrives from the north and reminds the whole Metroplex why freeze protection exists. We will tell you when a repair beats a remodel, when standard white plaster is genuinely good enough, and when the fiberglass shell you were talked out of was actually the right call. Se habla español, and the estimate is always free.
If you have a pool project in Irving, the fastest way to get a real number is a free on-site estimate. Credentials
- Experience: 15+ years serving the Las Colinas and mid-cities area
- License: Texas issues no license for pool building. What it does require is a permit, and Irving inspects the barrier, the bonding and the plumbing before a pool holds water. We pull that permit in our own name rather than yours, which matters: an owner-pulled permit makes the owner the contractor in the eyes of the inspector.
- Insurance: Fully insured and bonded
- Association: Pool & Hot Tub Alliance member
- Warranty: Written workmanship warranty on every job
How Irving Pool Builders works
How a job with Irving Pool Builders runs, start to finish
Site visit first, always. We measure, look at the real condition of the work area, and ask what you are actually trying to solve — then you get an itemized free estimate in writing with materials, scope and a realistic date on it.
Once the work starts, the same crew stays on the job until it is done. We protect the surrounding area, clean up daily, and tell you the moment something under the surface changes the plan, because the alternative is a surprise invoice and nobody wants that conversation. Written workmanship warranty on every job backs the finished work.
What we will not do
We do not quote a pool job over the phone, take deposits before a written scope exists, or bid work we are not set up to do properly. If your project needs a different trade, we say so and point you at someone who does it well. Losing a job is cheaper than doing one badly in Irving.
Where Irving Pool Builders works and who we work with
Irving, TX first, then the surrounding communities of the Las Colinas and mid-cities area: Coppell, Grapevine, Southlake, Colleyville, Flower Mound, Lewisville, Highland Village, Trophy Club and more. Each of those has its own page with local detail rather than a copy of this one.
Work splits roughly between homeowners and commercial property — offices, retail, restaurants, apartment complexes and HOA boards across the Las Colinas and mid-cities area. Start with the Irving services, the Irving Pool Builders homepage, or just call (877) 730-2126.

What Irving Customers Say
Two builders told us our side yard was too tight and quoted us like it was a favor. These guys measured it, said they would run the hose from the street and take spoil out by conveyor, and put the extra cost in the quote instead of springing it on us later. Pool has been in two years.
They put the HOA packet together for us, which I did not know was a thing anybody did. Approved first submission. The 3D design was accurate enough that the finished pool looks like the picture, which apparently is not normal.
Old pool from the seventies, awful plaster, tile falling off. They explained the tile was coming off because the expansion joint had failed, fixed that first, then retiled and did a quartz finish. Nobody else who quoted even mentioned the joint.
Variable-speed pump and a new cartridge filter. The pad is quiet now, which I did not expect, and the summer electric bill dropped enough to notice. They also did not try to sell me a heater I said I did not want.
Full build with a spa and a raised wall. Eleven weeks, and the one week it slipped they called before I had to. The tanning ledge with bubblers has been the best money we spent on the whole project.
